A little too big

I intended to put this pin on my military hat but it takes up a large area. It would be better as a 1" pin. In addition, it has only one (1) pin mount on the back to secure it, which is located in the middle of the cross. Because of its weight and size, it swivels around on the hat and does not stay upright. I replaced the supplied butterfly clutch with a rubber one and that helps a little. This pin should have two mounting pins or at least a burr on the backside to keep it from swiveling around. Otherwise, it is a nice pin.
